Procter & Gamble will cease selling Pampers, Whisper and Tide laundry soap in the Philippines

Recently, Procter & Gamble Philippines announced that it has stopped the production and sale of three major product categories - Pampers, Whisper and Tide laundry soap - in the country as of November 2025. Anna Legarda, the director of communications for Procter & Gamble Philippines, told BusinessWorld in an interview that this adjustment is part of the company's long-term strategy in the Philippines: to invest more resources in innovation and core strength brands. Therefore, the company has decided to streamline its product line in the local market, ceasing the production and sale of baby care and feminine care products, and concentrating resources on more competitive and popular core products to better meet consumer demands.
