Ontex recently announced it has tripled its North American pants-style baby diaper production capacity, marking a comprehensive upgrade to its manufacturing capabilities in the region. Concurrently, the company has further enhanced operational efficiency, continuously strengthening its “dual-base manufacturing model” spanning both East and West Coasts of North America.
According to a 2025 report by Grand View Research, the U.S. baby diaper market is projected to achieve an annual growth rate of approximately 8%. This expansion is primarily driven by increased demand for diaper convenience among infants and toddlers, growing household needs for time-saving childcare solutions, and the widespread adoption of features like 360° elastic waistbands and hypoallergenic materials. Data from NIQ Omnisales+ indicates that retail brand sales in the overall U.S. market grew by 4.1% year-over-year.
Ontex currently operates production facilities in Stokesdale, North Carolina, and Tijuana, Mexico.
